How to resolve error while setting amfi_get_out_of_my_way=1

Can anyone explain how to fix the error related to setting amfi value.

I have disabled SIP. I also tried Reduced Security under Startup Security Utility. I even tried "bputil -f" but still when i try to set amfi. It gives me an error

The command i am trying : nvram boot-args="amfi_get_out_of_my_way=1"
The error i am getting : Error setting variable - 'boot-args': (iokit/common) not permitted.

Please do help if there are any known solution for this.

in recovery mode

csrutil disable
csrutil allow-research-guests enable

then restart the mac and open terminal and type

sudo nvram boot-args="amfi_get_out_of_my_way=1 -v"

are you setting nvram boot-args="amfi_get_out_of_my_way=1" in the terminal while in recovery mode? Youre ment to set it in the same terminal that you disable csrutil in. Thats the most likely mistake i can see being made.
