Following the successful (or failed) high-movement check, we need to conduct a secondary, low-speed stability and fine motor control test on the returned NAO robot. This test focuses on confirming controlled, gradual weight shifting and joint precision, which are crucial for the robot's overall functionality.
✅ Acceptance Criteria
- The NAO robot must successfully complete the Tai Chi choreography with smooth, controlled movements and no visible tremor, shaking, or abrupt shifts in balance.
- A short video (15-30 seconds) of the performance must be attached to this ticket.
🏃 Steps to Run the Test
- Preparation: Ensure the NAO robot is fully charged and placed on a flat, clear surface.
- Test Selection: Execute the pre-existing "Tai Chi Choreography" script/program. (This routine involves slow, deliberate movements and controlled weight transfers, making it an excellent test for fine-tuned balance algorithms.)
- Recording: Record a short video clip (15-30 seconds) of the robot performing the movements.
- Observation: Closely monitor the robot during the performance for:
- Visible tremors or shaking in joints during slow holds.
- Abrupt or jerky weight shifts instead of smooth transitions.
- Loss of balance during single-leg stance or deep-stance postures.
- Reporting:
- Attach the recorded video to this issue.
- Add a comment below detailing the outcome (e.g., "Passed: Movements were smooth and controlled," or "Failed: Visible shaking in the arm joint at 0:08 mark").
