Failing to use inventory crafting gui

It was unable to use the inventory crafting ui and when i crafted the items it was attempting to craft the game hung and forced me to restart.
This happened during the first goals for the @gamer task when trying to make a crafting table and sticks using birch logs.

Another thing is that there are massive performance drops and game hangs during the bed sleep task in @gamer.
