What is the difference between linear and outline?

Amazing set!

What is the difference between outline and linear? To me they look exactly the same, sometimes outline seems to be a bit buggy tho.

Which one to chose?

P.S. While this set IS amazing, some very basic icons are missing. E.g. for a simple "X" I need to use another library, Material symbols has a close and a close-small: https://icones.js.org/collection/material-symbols?s=close&icon=material-symbols:close-rounded
