Hello!

I just found this tool on the Traccar forums and it seems like exactly what I'm looking for, so I'd like to say "Thanks" in advance for all the effort you've done to create this and publish it for anyone to use! Unfortunately, when I try to run to tool, it tells me "Your settings for smoothing the track includes more than 50% points of the trackpoints." regardless of what settings or date range I set, even when I have no smoothing settings applied. Is this a misconfiguration somewhere on my part?

Server version is 6.4 btw

Hmmmm...? Looking at the code, the error message is wrong. No idea why I've never corrrected it...
It seems you have a problem in your configuration file (traccar2gpx.json), while I can't replicate the issue.
If you want me to have a look at it, please share it.

thanks for sharing your JSON file.

its strange....

• It seems you can address your traccar server - otherwise the program would stop earlier and you don't see the main menu.
• The program gets your tracker (so the tracker ids) from traccar
• But when the program tries to fetch data from traccar is fails.

I tried several scenarios:

• using wrong email / password
• using a non admin user
• using a trackers name including a " ' " sign as its in "Wyatt's iPhone"
• But I never break at that point

Without full access I'm sorry, but I can't help any further.
If you find a solution, do me a favor and share the result.

The wrong error message will be corrected with the next update.

Only from=2026-01-20T00:00:00.000Z&to=2026-01-20T23:59:59.999Z works.

It is a query format issue.
