exporting mzQC runQuality for compareMS2 comparison with reference dataset?

For an N-to-1 comparison (i.e. the opposite of spectra2species), could we generate an mzQC file as output, that in addition to simple metrics such as number of spectra, also includes the distance to a reference dataset? The latter could for example be a pooled sample or a QC reference sample.
