# AcreetionOS
> AcreetionOS is a free, open-source, privacy-focused Linux distribution based on Arch Linux featuring a customized Cinnamon desktop. It is an independent, volunteer-run project led by Natalie Cole-Clift Spiva and Darren Clift, based in Spokane, WA, USA. No telemetry, repository sovereignty, 80,000+ packages via pacman and the AUR. The project is NOT affiliated with StormOS or any other distribution team.
