Welcome to the future of state management! We've just upgraded your codebase from a classic ChangeNotifier ViewModel to a robust, predictable Cubit using the BLoC pattern.

🏗️ The Big Picture

What Changed?

  • Old Way (ViewModel): Like a mutable object that you "poke" and hope the UI updates correctly. notifyListeners() is like yelling "Hey everyone, something changed!" but not saying what.
  • New Way (Cubit): Like a strict timeline of events. Every change is a distinct State object. It's predictable, traceable, and immutable.

Why Is This An Upgrade?

  1. Immutability: Once a state is emitted, it cannot be changed. This eliminates entire classes of bugs where state is accidentally mutated.
  2. Predictability: Given an input (Event/Method Call), you always get the same output (State).
  3. Traceability: You can log every single state change and see the exact history of your app's behavior.
  4. Separation of Concerns: UI listens to state streams. Logic emits state streams. They are completely decoupled.
