Menu-string in top of the window not transparent

I tried to use theme and tried to change source of theme to make menu-string transparent, but get no success. Did you do some specific things to make this feature? As result i want only transparent sidebar and part of menu-string above sidebar.

Please provide the screenshot, I think its possible to make multiple themes in one package with different transparent parts of the app
