What happened?

When selecting a component or network on the schematic, the highlighted component or network is forced into dimmed mode.

Expected behavior

respect board display settings

Steps to reproduce

Set board view to no dimming.
Select component or net from PDF.
Boardview will be in full dimmed mode for result.

Fixed in df04f73 (will ship in the next release).

Root cause: Settings ▸ Board overlay ▸ Auto-dim on search defaults to ON. When a PDF click triggered focusPart / focusNet, that flag forced the dim overlay regardless of your per-tab Dimming setting — overriding Off.

Fix: the auto-dim-on-search rule now only promotes an already-dimmed view (Dim / Darklight); it can no longer introduce dim against an explicit Off. No setting changes needed on your end — your existing Off will stick.

Note: the title says "Ghost mode" but the actual offender was the dim overlay, not the ghosts layer. The ghosts respected your setting all along.
