1. as you can see from the picture, the geolocated point gives me FAR.
   how do i get it to work so that it always gives me the distance to the point where i am currently at home ?

2. reading your code for the card, i saw that there is this sensor:
   entity: sensor.karam_wifi_connection
   is this your device ? what kind of check do you do ? so that i can try to adapt it to my situation

3. i also see these entities:
   entity: sensor.simone_phone_public_ip_address
   entity: sensor.simone_phone_last_reboot
   do you always use them via point 2? or for what? because i don't see anything on the card.

Make sure you have created the proximity sensors correctly. Double check last 2 steps related to proximity here.

Note: i think creating these in yaml is deprecated on newer versions of HA:

user:
  zone: home
  devices:
    - device_tracker.user
  tolerance: 50
  unit_of_measurement: m

So maybe you should create them in the UI instead from Devices and servises.
After doing that remove/comment proximity: !include proximity.yaml in your configration.yaml.

This is just a user name that i forget to change. Just make sure you enable these sensors from you phone: companion app > Manage sensors.

Also make sure you enable these sensors from you phone. mentioned here in the guide.

i have activated all the sensors in the companion app following your entities.

i didn't understand this though:

which entity should be there where you mention it ?

the zones in HA i have created, home, work and many others

in fact with another card I can see where I am at all times.
but I don't understand what measurement I should have where the geolocation symbol is, the distance between what ?
home - geolocation smartphone ? other ?

• karam is just a user name, ignore it and put your user name instead.
• in your companion app under Network sensors you need to enable Network type & Wifi connection. Note that it can take some time before those entities show up in HA. (toggleing wifi/4G on you phone will make those enitites show up faster).

Everything is explaind and tested, you just need to read the guide carefully and try to understand it. Also it importantto activate needed sensors in your companion app.

I must say tho.. that i only tested this on Androids, so iPhones might have slightly diffrent entity names, in this case you need to test and adapt.

I'm trying to follow everything step by step because I like the work you've done, but I don't understand some of the things I've explained to you and in fact I don't see those measurements I was telling you in the previous post
