[Bug] Pasting code does not put it inside the bloc

Bug Description

While adding a code componet /code
I'm tying to put code by pasting it from chatgpt, or even other sources, the code gets paste below the bloc of code, not inside

Steps to Reproduce

trying multiple times, I dont get it to paste it inside, it seems I can only type manualy inside.

Expected Behavior

When you do a paste, by cmd + v or even right-click -> paste, it should paste the code where the cursor is. or then what is the purpuse of having a code component, if you can't actually paste code

another issue related to coding area:
content within code block has md as well as encoded format. For example when user enter "#" or "/", it returns heading 1 or command menu list
