Messages fail to display on foldable phones. Specifically, on the Pixel 8 Pro Fold, messages do not appear when using the inner/large screen. This issue affects all conversation interfaces and persists even after rotating the device.

I can't reproduce the problem myself, I don't have foldable devices and in the android emulator and my android device this problem you report doesn't happen so it is a bit of a blind guess

mmh, thanks for trying, will see if I can upload another apk later or otherwise will need to get a foldable device for testing, in the android emulator it doesn't happen
