Hi Team,
We observed a potential discrepancy following the recent EDGAR release related to warning detection behavior between the SEC test filing environment and the latest Arelle EDGAR plugin implementation.
During SEC test filing validation, the following warning was generated:
**Warning: XBRL WARNING MESSAGE
Message: Warning: [EFG.7.3.UncategorizedDimensionedFact]
The warning indicates that the fact OfferingCostsIncurredDuringNoncashOrPartialNoncashTransaction under a specific dimensional context is not selected in any presentation group, while related members under the same axis are present in the presentation role.
(Reference: StatementCondensedStatementsOfCashFlows role – Line 307)**
However, this warning does not appear to be captured by the latest Arelle EDGAR plugin, despite being identified by the SEC test filing validation process.
Note: To resolve the issue, the one-day context was updated to a seven-month ended context.
At this point, it is unclear where the disconnect exists, whether due to:
-- A recent change introduced in the EDGAR release
-- A gap in the latest Arelle EDGAR plugin validation logic
-- Differences in rule implementation or synchronization between SEC and Arelle
Could the team please investigate and help determine the root cause of this inconsistency? Since SEC is flagging the warning while our current plugin is not, alignment between both validation behaviors would be important.
