Allow exclusion of Resource Type short name

Would it be possible to allow excluding the resource abbreviation from the resource name? I've tried to apply it as an exclusion manually in the json but it still seems to apply it.

Our use case is primarily for key vaults and storage accounts we have chosen to omit the st and kv characters in favour of a applying a convention which makes sense for us, there's a few other resources like this but they're the most pertinent.

Another example might be the DNS zones which have short names of dnsz and pdnsz, but the Microsoft networking abbreviations indicate the naming should be after the zone name.
