JackerBox Project Summary

This document provides a high-level overview of the JackerBox project status, implementation plans, and next steps.

Project Status

JackerBox is a Next.js application for equipment rental marketplace that enables:

  • Users to list equipment for rent
  • Users to browse and rent equipment
  • Secure payment processing via Stripe
  • Messaging between renters and owners
  • Notifications for important events

The application has been developed with the following key technologies:

  • Next.js 15.2.0 (App Router)
  • PostgreSQL (via Prisma ORM)
  • Redis for caching and real-time features
  • Cloudinary for image storage
  • Stripe for payment processing
  • TypeScript for type safety
