From 858090645ab07e3b109040097147c092884c1074 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Maarten Marsman Date: Wed, 21 Oct 2026 19:10:25 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] ci(coverage): run the coverage job weekly and on request, not on every push Under covr the every-run tier takes about an hour on the 2-core runner. Since 2026-10-21 09:00 every push-triggered coverage run has ended with the hosted runner being recycled mid-job ("runner has received a shutdown signal"), one failure email per push and per pull request. The job now runs Sundays at 06:00 UTC on develop and on manual dispatch, with a 90-minute timeout. fast-checks.yaml and R-CMD-check.yaml remain the per-push test jobs. --- .github/workflows/test-coverage.yaml | 18 +++++++++++------- 1 file changed, 11 insertions(+), 7 deletions(-) diff --git a/.github/workflows/test-coverage.yaml b/.github/workflows/test-coverage.yaml index 80c39697..0ffbfa36 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/test-coverage.yaml +++ b/.github/workflows/test-coverage.yaml @@ -1,24 +1,28 @@ # Workflow derived from https://github.com/r-lib/actions/tree/v2/examples # Need help debugging build failures?
