The current MIOP term for PCR amplification, library preparation and sequencing is "omics analysis." I suggest changing it to "omics assays" or "omics sequence generation" to better represent the molecular lab work and sequencing, rather than than the term "analysis" which more suggests data analysis / bioinformatics.
