Here is a compilation of all the earlier feature requests reported by users on separate issues:

1- An option to unlink the sync and reset the loop. It would be helpful to have a startup option to disable the reset when syncing.

2 - A feature to randomize all elements without altering the oscillator's pitch.

3 - A method to refill the buffer with noise without needing to restart the module.

4 - Startup options accessible through MIDI/SysEx, making it easier to create an online editor.
The proposed options of this editor include:

Attenuverters and attenuators for modulation
Attenuators for CV inputs
Options for knob behavior, including "Catch" vs. "Jump"

Additionally, there are user suggestions that can be addressed, such as the option to exclude pitch from the "Random All" function.

I was wondering if it might be possible for the WT oscillator to optionally "follow" the looper's playback parameters, dynamically adapting to the current varispeed, loop start, and length.

I would love to see an implementation of some control over it's saturation / clipping / distortion behavior - this would be my main feature request, because this modules cries for feedback patches! .. and while it does already an okay job at it, there is a lot of room for improvement I think.
Just imagine for instance the "input" fader could be normalled to the output and "shift+input fader" would change the phase of the signal fed into the input (0-360° - all-pass filter) .. or maybe it scrolls through some phase settings and then fullwave or halfwave rectification, maybe even a small comparator circuit ... anything that livens up feedback patches :)
Of course, you can get near to this with the looper, but its not the same. For now I have patched it through my Stereo Matrix Mixer and Effects.. that's already quite fun.

It would be great if the randomizer mechanic could be expanded onto the MOD-AMT Menu as well. So when you're in the MOD-AMT menu, you can select the randomness amount as well as the target with the switches and then randomize the MOD-AMT accordingly. It would also be great if we were able to further use this mechanic to delete / reset the MOD-AMT when RECORD+RANDOM is selectively, instead of just reset ALL.

An option to have the volume and dry/wet CVs range from 0-5V rather than 0-10V.

The ability to apply the internal modulation to the volume and dry/wet values

it would be nice to be able to use the pitch CV knob to play the looper as a synth so whatever you habe recorded in you could then change its pitch.

Also it would be nice for more snappier response of the attenuators for the "input, saw/wt, and sine" volume CV's so they can be sent a gate fora greater expected result.

Hello Diego, thank you and congrats for your work !

It would be really fantastic (and useful) to have real semitones on the Looper, and especially a slight detent of the knob for the -12 semitone value.
In ambient, an octave below is so interesting !

And as kuttor-ping suggests, being able to control the looper with 1V/oct tracking would be great.

Maybe not the better place to ask this, but as Mattin @Befaco did suggest, the code is open source, so with the help of a collegue who's know c++ (and a litlle AI for some extra help) I have now a custom looper.h on the desk.
My question is now: how to compile that ?
I go at https://www.rebeltech.org/patch-library/patches/my-patches but when I upload my .h files, not all are taken by the page, and of course an error message appears when I want to compile... Any help will be appreciated !

And of course if my new looper.h is ok, I'll share it !

(in fact the modifications are: no more double speed, only from -1x at full ccw to 1x at full cw, with a detent at -0.5x and 0.5x, and with musical semitones between 1 and 0.5)

Cole be possible to match the varispeed with v/oct so you can use +~ 1 or 2 volts to syncronize perfect? I,m New with this great instrument …

Feature Request: Simple Internal Quantiser for Oneiroi

It would be amazing to have a simple internal quantiser option for the Oneiroi.

If we could toggle a basic quantiser with a few simple scale options (e.g., Chromatic, Major, Minor, Pentatonic) via the configuration, we could actively "play" the large Pitch knob like a traditional stepped oscillator performance control.

This would turn that knob into a highly playable live performance macro, heavily inspired by how satisfyingly playable the large Coarse pitch knobs become on the Instruō Seashell once its internal quantiser is active.

Feature Request: Looper Varispeed Virtual Detents at Half Speed (Both Directions)

It would be incredibly useful to have additional virtual detents for the VARISPEED knob at the half-speed positions in both directions (+0.5 and -0.5).

After all, "half speed is best speed." haha

Have an option so that the play head and record head stayed in sync with the sync in and the start/ length. I’d like it so that what I’m hearing is what is going to be recorded and recorded with SOS.

Also like to be able to completely turn off the DJ filter or make the center indent larger.

Feature request: Extend loop memory/RAM to 5 mins (or at least a minute), while preserving the audio quality.
Additionally add half and quarter sample rate options in order to play with bitrate-degraded frequency response.

This would make the module suitable for a whole different type of live music players.
