I have a question about an ambience algorithm - in both software and in hardware versions (both latest), I get the "pumping" feel at some values, and it's very regular.
To reproduce:
- noise from looper at max
- ambience at max
- spacetime 0.5
If I move spacetime above 50% it's better and becomes less of an issue. But for values below 50% (which should be just a reverse of the reverb tail, if I understand correctly?) the pumping is again very much heard - especially when approaching 50% and 0%.
It's quite annoying, as it can become very dominating whenever I use ambience, making some of the value ranges mentioned above unusable.
I tried playing with decay, autopan, sync etc, but nothing seem to influence it - it both software and hardware I get a stable 120bpm for the pumping rhythm.
Is this a characteristic of the Schroeder reverb algorithm, and is expected?
