  • Scope is the single split bushing used to centre a pipe/tube in a through-hole. Pipe/tube, panel/reservoir wall and mounting hardware are excluded.
  • Expected solids = 1.
  • Duplicate search was completed before cropping using “SRF”, “pipe/tube bushing”, “through-hole centring bushing”, the proposed name and similar collar/grommet/spacer-ring mechanisms across current designs/, all Issues, all PRs and the old family corpus. No equivalent was found. The current speaker-pole socket, Issue [family] duct_takeoff_starting_collar #28 duct collar and old spacer_ring are materially different interfaces and are documented in rejected-cases.md.

Claim it: self-assign, then re-verify the evidence below before coding.

Standard material codes are PP (natural-colour polypropylene) and SA87 (black 87 Shore-A thermoplastic elastomer). The printed code form is SRF-[D1]-[PP|SA87]. The 4…12 mm S range describes compatible panel/reservoir wall thickness; it is not an invitation to scale unshown internal geometry.

  1. Generate one split bushing solid with the flange/retaining profile visible in the official section and product image.
  2. D1 and D2 must be concentric; D3 is the external mounting-bore requirement and must remain coupled to the selected row.
  3. Overall axial height must match H1 and the flange feature H2.
  4. Preserve the insertion split/opening. Do not turn the part into a featureless closed spacer ring.
  5. Four benchmark views must expose the split, centre bore, flange and axial section.
  6. Validate one positive-volume solid, through bore D1, catalogued envelope and row membership.

Unmarked-dimension risk

Split width, retaining-lip depth, flange/taper profile, local radii and deformation during plug-in installation are not fully dimensioned. Use only deterministic proportion values for them. S is compatibility metadata, so do not infer a hidden wall, reservoir geometry or a continuously variable bushing body from S. Do not guess material deformation or internal reinforcement.
