Custom placeholder for empty field value

Hi,

what do you think about a configurable custom placeholder for empty field values? Currently theres only a dash.

That is a good idea, but on what level would you have that setting. Per field, fieldtype, or global? I'm not sure how I would see that.

Good question. Personally I would like to see this by fieldtype. For my customer it was okay to just change it globally.
