how can i increase the font size/ui scale/screen resolution? i am using a big 38inch display only the icons are big and the text is very small?Because using the default Setting-Appearnce-Scale-set resize percentage doesn't work? And loweing the the screen resolution in full desktop mode is not available ,Windows syas an't change resolution on a remote desktop? |

In windows the setting you want to change is the device scale factor, not resolution. |

Searched it up,I already tried that,shut down and reboot the vm and still no changes.I also tried to shutdown the whole pi board and restart the vm still no changes |

Pixel doubling should definitely have done something, as long as your pi is directly connected to your monitor. |

I haven't tried the pixel doubling on pi(bookworm) side. I'll let you know what happens.Ok? Btw thanks for helping me this far. If you asking about the windows side device scale factor then when i rebooted it seemled like nothing changed so i set the percentage to 300%(just to check if something is changing or not) and rebooted again and still no changes.. |

In windows the setting you want to change is the device scale factor, not resolution.
On the raspberry pi side, you may want to enable pixel doubling mode to cut down on the number of pixels it needs to render. Source
