<head>Mary Barnard</head>
<p><lb/>Was born in April 1723. She survived her husband. She was the
<lb/>mother of the reverend Jeremiah Barnard of Amherst, New Hamp=
<lb/>= shire. She retained her faculties till the close of life. She died at
<lb/>Amherst on the 13th of October, 1823, aged one hundred years and
<lb/>six months.</p>
