When the WIBL logger is configured for Station mode but the target SSID is unavailable upon boot, it gracefully falls back to AP (Access Point) mode. However, it will remain in AP mode indefinitely. This feature request proposes adding a non-blocking background network scan that periodically checks for the configured target SSID while in AP fallback mode. This ensures that if a network becomes available later (e.g., a mobile hotspot is turned on after leaving the dock), the logger will automatically discover it and transition back to Station mode without requiring a device reboot. The background scan interval should be configurable and default to 30 seconds to allow for rapid recovery.
