A clone and a fork are similar in Github. They both copy a git repository. The difference is that cloning a repository creates a copy that is saved locally while forking a repository saves it to the git server. A branch happens within a repository and allows a user to divide a larger project into different tasks. A project can have multiple branches that do no interact with each other until the branches are merged.
