Steam Deck power button has stopped working

I am on Steam Deck LCD with CachyOS Handheld Edition

Since a recent update (I don't know if it is due to KDE 6.6 possibly) my power button stopped working.
I used to have it configured as sleep mode, but it stopped working, other options also don't work.

Can somebody else with a Steam Deck replicate this and confirm please? Thank you

Hey, same here with LCD Deck.

I managed to fix the power button issue by manually downgrading steamos-powerbuttond.

If you haven't cleared your pacman cache, you might still have an older version saved locally under /var/cache/pacman/pkg.
You can then simply run sudo pacman -U file:///var/cache/pacman/pkg/package-old_version.pkg.tar.zst to install it.

I also had to do the same for steamos-manager package, otherwise some menu options like "max battery charge level" were missing or not properly configured.

Actually I never had the "max battery level" feature, turns out steamos-manager wasn't installed.
