Overview

If a user loses access to their account because their password has been forgotten, the reset password feature allows that user to recover their account.

Objectives

• Implement a reset password feature.
• Require user verification before allowing the password change (e.g. email verification).
• Use secure best practices, such as sending a security notification via email when a user's password is changed.
