The Hostname configuration for the ntfy service should be optional, but currently, if it is not filled in, neither sent nor add can be executed

It's a bug in Apprise, not MIND. I reported it to Apprise in caronc/apprise#1417.

Turns out it's not a bug in Apprise but a niche implementation detail that MIND has to handle.
