To improve usability, it would be helpful if there were a way to attach brief notes to the metrics. This could be done, for example, in the form of a tooltip that appears when you hover over the metric name. The tooltips could be defined directly alongside the metrics in a cluster’s cluster.json file.
Example for mem_used: “Total used memory on the node. Only meaningful if the node is allocated exclusively.”
