trip lost when GPS unavailable at end

I just recorded a trip and forgot to hit finish until a few minutes after I got inside. When I clicked finish, the error about no GPS signal being available popped up that often stops me from starting my trip indoors, but then it threw out my recorded trip and sent me back to the home screen even though the trip status screen had showed several miles recorded.

Thanks for narrowing down the issue. I think I may have found the culprit; line 155 of the RecordingActivity stops updates when service is lost, but there's no logic to resume when connectivity is regained.

Okay, I've just pushed a branch called pause-resume-gps which may fix this; I haven't tried it out yet.

Okay, it's not what I thought it was. My extra logic isn't doing anything.

It seems erratic. Sometimes on attempting to upload a trip with recording points, but GPS disabled at the end of the trip, it succeeds; other times it checks for recorded data before uploading, says it has none, and bails.
