MeetYou uses a simple contributor standard: be respectful, constructive, and focused on the work.
- Use welcoming and inclusive language.
- Respect different experience levels and perspectives.
- Give actionable feedback, especially in reviews and issue triage.
- Keep discussions technical, specific, and relevant to the project.
- Handle sensitive reports, private credentials, and personal information carefully.
- Harassment, threats, insults, or discriminatory language.
- Publishing private information without explicit permission.
- Sharing credentials, cookies, tokens, private hostnames, or sensitive screenshots in public issues or discussions.
- Repeatedly derailing technical discussions after maintainers ask to refocus.
Maintainers may edit or remove comments, close issues, restrict participation, or block contributors when behavior harms the project or its community.
