Feature description
Summary
I noticed that some Japanese translations in app/src/main/res/values-ja-rJP/strings.xml are currently unnatural, likely due to machine translation. I would like to contribute by refining these strings to make the app more intuitive for Japanese users.
Examples of unnatural strings:
Based on my review, here are a few examples that need correction:
- settings_look_feel_title: "見て & 感じて" (Direct translation of Look & Feel) -> "外観と操作感"
- apply_to_home: "ホームに応募する" (Apply used as "apply for a job") -> "ホームに適用する"
- settings_expert_title: "専門家" (Direct translation of Expert) -> "エキスパート"
- reset: "Reset" (Untranslated) -> "リセット"
Proposed Action
I have identified several other strings that could be improved. Following the contribution guidelines, I am opening this issue to discuss the best way to proceed:
- Should I submit a Pull Request directly to the main branch?
- Or do you prefer that I make these suggestions via Crowdin (as I noticed a crowdin.yml in the root)?
