FetchObjects does not return group members

Using a filter with the format of (&(objectCategory=group)(cn=myCustomGroup)) i was not able to return any users i knew to be assigned correctly. The process ends with an "An operations error occurred." message.

The error message contained the code "HResult": -2147016672
I was not able to find out what was the cause of this. I managed to get the data i wanted with a Powershell command Get-ADGroupMember "myCustomGroup"

Does this error come from on-prem enviroment, can you check if impersonation is disabled?
