Window "AnkiCollab Notifications" cannot be closed via keyboard shortcuts ESC or CMD+W

First of all, thank you for this awesome plugin. I subscribed to my first deck and made my first suggestion.
Then I went to the menu and opened the "Notifications" window to check in on the status of my suggestion.

First thing I noticed:
I cannot close this notification window by pressing Escape or CMD+W on macOS. All other windows work fine.
