Attempt to delete a metadata/organization results in error "Organization has published resources, can't be removed

We have been doing clean up including removing obsolete organizations.

We call the Delete endpoint metadata/organizations/ce-....

I have tried several orgs where they do not have published resources, and are no longer published themselves, but keep getting the following error:

"Organization has published resources, can't be removed"

Found the problem. It’s a rudiment of the obsolete sign-on-behalf feature. You can send me the list of the organizations that should be deleted, and I’ll take care of them.

I noted that I can wait for the fix (was testing in the sandbox)
