🚀 SoulDown - Stable 1.0 - New Features Coming Soon! 🎉

I am excited to announce that SoulDown is about to release Stable 1.0, packed with some fantastic new features and improvements. This version will bring a modernized user interface, better performance, and more customization options to enhance your music and video downloading experience. Here's a preview of what's coming:

🔥 New Features and Enhancements

1. UI Overhaul - Moving to PyQt5

• The user interface is getting a complete upgrade from Tkinter to PyQt5! Expect a cleaner, more modern interface with improved visual consistency across both Windows and Linux. This will provide a better user experience with advanced widgets and a more polished design.

2. Improved Progress Bars

• With PyQt5, progress bars for both song downloads and the overall download queue will be smoother and more accurate, allowing you to easily track the progress of your downloads in real-time.

3. Quality and File Extension Options

• Choose from a range of formats for downloading:
  • Audio: .mp3, .m4a (aac), .opus with customizable quality (low, medium, high).
  • Video: Download in formats like .mp4, .avi for a wider range of media options.

4. Better File Organization - Artist/Album/Track

• Downloaded songs will now be neatly organized by Artist → Album → Song. No more disorganized folders or random naming conventions!

5. Handling Collaborations (Ft)

• Featuring artists (e.g., "Artist ft Artist2")? No worries, SoulDown will now organize files under the main artist's folder, avoiding unnecessary folder clutter.

6. Duplicate Song Handling

• Say goodbye to file overwriting. If a song already exists, SoulDown will automatically rename the new download to prevent conflicts, ensuring all files stay unique and organized.

7. Album Cover Downloading

• Download and embed album covers directly into your MP3 files, making sure each song is not only well-organized but also visually appealing with the right cover art.

8. Cross-Platform Support

• The switch to PyQt5 ensures that the app will look and function consistently across both Windows and Linux, addressing previous UI issues (like button color mismatches) and improving overall performance.

📅 Launch Coming Soon!

Stay tuned for the official release of SoulDown Stable 1.0. I am putting the finishing touches on the app and can’t wait for you to experience these exciting new features! Keep an eye on this repo for updates and be ready to download the latest version soon.
