When logged in the task bar appears over the navigation bar like so:

Is there a way to swap this?

Hi Ben,

You can pin the Dockbar pressing red marker (a funcionality of Liferay), or adding the same CSS properties than .navbar-fixed-top for .dockbar in custom.css
.navbar-fixed-top { position: fixed; right: 0; left: 0; z-index: 1030; margin-bottom: 0;}

First, let me say this is really appreciated. Your code is very well done. However, I am having the above issue where the dockbar is below the navbar. Pining the dockbar just covers up the navbar. I really don't understand what pillarargudo is saying. I've tried this fix several different ways but can't get it to work.

Could someone clarify how to get the navbar below the dockbar when signed in.

Hi bgdaniels,

when you pinning the dockbar the CSS properties are the same for .navbar-fixed-top and .lfr-dockbar-pinned .dockbar , this property is top:0;

And you can notice now is applicated from default Liferay dockbar.css stylesheet

html > .lfr-dockbar-pinned {
padding-top: 3.45em;
}

So you should add in your custom.css

.navbar-fixed-top {
    padding-top: 2.6em;
}

and navbar will be below the dockbar.
