D O M I N V M — VS Code Theme

33 premium color themes · 11 color families · Light + Dark + Dark Solarized

Every Dominvm theme is crafted — not generated — with WCAG AA contrast compliance, ergonomic tinted backgrounds, and 239 color tokens for complete VS Code coverage.

Original (Warm Red)

Original — Light · Dark · Dark Solarized

A refined palette built on warm rosewood tones. The Light variant uses a cream #FFF9F0 background with Rust #CC3300 accents. The Dark variant features a deep charcoal with Tangerine #FF9966 highlights. The Dark Solarized lifts the background to #201215 for extended comfort.

Green

Green — Light · Dark · Dark Solarized

Nature-inspired with soft sage and mint tones. Light uses Mint Cream #F5FAF0, Dark plunges to Deep Forest #0C1A0C, and Dark Solarized lifts to Fern Dusk #122012. Accents: Spring Green #66BB6A.

Blue

Blue — Light · Dark · Dark Solarized

Cool-toned and professional. Light uses Ice Wash #F0F5FA, Dark features Midnight #0C1420, and Dark Solarized lifts to Cobalt Dusk #0C1828. Accents: Sky Blue #64B5F6.

Teal

Teal — Light · Dark · Dark Solarized

Oceanic and refreshing. Light uses Aqua Mist #F0FAF8, Dark dives to Abyssal #051210, and Dark Solarized lifts to Deep Lagoon #0E2025. Accents: Aquamarine #4DB6AC.

Grey

Grey — Light · Dark · Dark Solarized

Minimalist and distraction-free. Light uses Platinum #F5F5F7, Dark features Charcoal #101012, and Dark Solarized lifts to Onyx #1A1A1E. Accents: Blue Grey #90A4AE.

Sepia

Sepia — Light · Dark · Dark Solarized

Warm and vintage-inspired. Light uses Parchment #FAF5EB, Dark features Espresso #120E0A, and Dark Solarized lifts to Leather #1E1814. Accents: Amber #D7A86E.

Yellow

Yellow — Light · Dark · Dark Solarized

Sunlit and golden. Light uses Buttercream #FFFDE8, Dark features Olive Night #0E0E05, and Dark Solarized lifts to Amber Night #1C1A0E. Accents: Golden #FFD54F.

Orange

Purple

Purple — Light · Dark · Dark Solarized

Regal and opulent. Light uses Lavender Mist #F8F5FF, Dark features Byzantium #0C0610, and Dark Solarized lifts to Amethyst #18101E. Accents: Orchid #CE93D8.

✦ Design Principles

Zero Glare

All backgrounds use color-tinted hues — never pure white or pure black. This eliminates the harsh glare that causes eye strain during prolonged use.

WCAG AA Compliant

Every syntax token achieves ≥ 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background. Comment colors deliberately sit at 3.8–5.1:1 to visually recede while remaining readable.

Three Depth Levels
