How to Compile

  1. Clone or fork the respository git@github.com:daintydust/better-snapchat.git.
  2. Install dependencies, typically by npm install in the root of the directory.
  3. Run npm run build to build the extension.
  4. The compiled extension will be available in the /public directory.
  5. Alternatively, you can run npm run package to package the extension.

⚠️ Firefox Support – Firefox is no longer officially supported. It sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Use at your own risk.

How to Contribute

  1. Clone or fork the respository git@github.com:daintydust/better-snapchat.git.
  2. Install dependencies, typically by npm install in the root of the directory.
  3. Run npm start to run the development server.
  4. Navigate to chrome://extensions/ and enable developer-mode (top-right).
  5. Click Load Unpacked and add /public from your cloned repository.
  6. Finally, navigate to https://www.snapchat.com/web and any changes you make to /src/script will be reflected there.

Disable any other instances of BetterSnap you may have running.
