COM Port Error

Board auto-upload failed for boot.py: mpremote: failed to access COM8 (it may be in use by another program)
I don´t know why.

Excellent plugin, exactly what I was looking for.
However, it still needs improvement.
A WebREPL function should also be implemented.

The Serial Port Conflict
Even with the recent robustness improvements I've implemented to stabilize the connection, MicroPython boards are hardware-limited to one active serial connection at a time. When the Integrated REPL Terminal is active, it creates a "lock" on the port, which prevents mpremote from accessing it for file synchronization or uploads.

Current Workaround: Free up the COM port by closing other active sessions. This includes both the internal REPL terminal and external applications like Thonny or Arduino IDE. Press reset button in board in needed.

Regarding WebREPL
While wireless management hasn’t been the primary focus of the current architecture, I recognize its value for remote development. I will monitor community interest in this feature to help prioritize it in the roadmap.

Next Steps
I’ll keep this issue open to track the "Port Busy" improvement. Refining port stability and implementing automated resource management—specifically a mechanism to gracefully handle REPL/Sync conflicts without manual intervention—is already in the pipeline.

I would suggest having a function, where if I want to upload updated code to the MCU board, MPY Workbench would stop the comport to upload the changed code and then run it again.
Ideally this could be turned on or off if needed.
And Ideally it should be triggered by a keyboard shortcut, like F5.

On Thorny when I press F5, it will upload and run the code to the MCU
