Description

Chat queries result in the error: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'encode'

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to Bird's Nest. Goose World 0.1B is loaded and apparently active.
2. Type in "hi" and send.
3. See error: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'encode'

Expected Behavior

A verbal response.

Actual Behavior

Error.
