Subset of @frarees PR #165
The first goal is to make UPM installation from Github link (or a local repo clone). A difference vs the original PR is that I maintain the old solution and folder structure. For that to happen, I had to struggle a bit and put the build directory in the parent directory for the solution folder=repo root folder. Also, dealing with temporary files showing up in the worst of places (also e.g. Nuget not understanding that obj folder has moved and still generating files there) is a PITA.
