Program crashes when trying to generate isolation tool geometry

Is there a log somewhere that I can check out or share? I want to know what's going on.

I'm on windows 11. Every single time I click "Generate Geometry" in "Isolation Tool", the program crashes, with a single exception where I don't know know what or if I did anything differently

Here's what I see before clicking the button. When I do, the program closes with no error message whatsoever.

I tried out 8.995 and it works

I have the same problem. Can anybody explain why this occurs? :(
