🎉 Option 1 — Measurement Framework & Industry Survey

The DevRel Foundation will:

• Develop a framework for measuring developer relations programs
• Use that framework to conduct an industry-wide survey assessing how well companies are performing
• Establish processes that ensure trust in the methodology and confidence in the accuracy of the reporting among all participants

🚀 Option 2 — Education

Focus the DevRel Foundation’s efforts primarily on education initiatives for the DevRel community.

👀 Option 3 — Survey Membership First

Survey the current DevRel Foundation membership to better understand priorities, then revisit Option 1 or Option 2 based on the outcome of that survey.

thanks for working on this @wesley83 ! Quick question on option 3: by "membership", do you mean the DRF community, or a membership model you’re considering building in the future?

Great question! By “membership” I’m referring to the existing DRF community across our current channels — the email list, LinkedIn group, GitHub, and Discord. Not a new or future paid membership model (at least not in this context).
