BTLEJuice: Proxy Stops and No Target Devices Listed in Web Interface

System Information:

• Operating System: Kali Linux 6.11.2-amd64 (running as a VM on Windows)

• Node.js Version: 8.9.0

• npm Version: 5.5.1

• BTLEJuice Version: 1.1.11

Steps Taken:

1. Installed BTLEJuice on the Kali VM. Encountered the following error during installation (screenshot below):

• I ignored this error and proceeded.

2. Launched btlejuice-proxy on the Kali VM.

3. On the Windows Host, ran: btlejuice -u <Kali IP> -w,

4. Opened the BTLEJuice web interface and clicked "Select a Target Device."

• List of target devices was empty

• Additionally, as soon as I clicked, the following message appeared in the Kali VM terminal:
  Stopping current proxy

• I verified that the Bluetooth interface (hci0) is UP and RUNNING on Kali.

• Disabled the Windows Bluetooth service beforehand.
