History not working (anymore)

History is enabled but it's not working. It used to work. YouTube doesn't know what I've watched. Possibly related - refreshing no longer gives new videos which I'm sure it used to. Instead it refreshes and gives the same videos. So I think YouTube might not be getting the (history) hint that I've seen those video suggestions already?

Was about to second this, but thanks to your message, I realized that my history setting was off. With that set to enabled, all seems to work correctly on my setup - using the overlay player on an Apple TV 4K 2nd gen, latest changes built 9/20. Are you still experiencing this issue since the latest changes?
