From cc0b168e05c30915f26e9da5dee9125619b62bf6 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Sandro Speth Date: Wed, 7 Oct 2026 10:36:08 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] feat: pin the IDE images to EduIDE 1.4.0 (chart 2.5.0) MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit EduIDE cut 1.4.0 today. appVersion is what every IDE image tag renders from when an environment sets no versions.ide, so moving it here is what moves production — the deployment repo only chooses which chart version an environment installs. 1.4.0 is the release that introduces the experience levels. Worth knowing before an installation takes it: beginner is the default and nothing presets a level yet, so every existing user lands on the beginner surface on their next session. 2.5.0 rather than 2.4.0 because #47 took the eduide chart there first, and it moved that chart alone — so eduide was 2.4.0 while eduide-cluster was still 2.3.0. Both go to 2.5.0 here, which is the convention the 1.3.0 bump set out to restore: they are released together at the same version, and they had drifted apart once before. The READMEs are regenerated because their version badges come from Chart.yaml and the docs-drift check reads them.
