I built this project because understanding a large codebase is still painful, even with AI coding agents.

Most tools can visualize a repo as a graph, but visualization alone is not enough. You still need to know where to start, what the system does, how different parts connect, and what might break when something changes.

Understand Anything focuses on turning a codebase into something developers and AI agents can actually learn from:

• guided learning paths
• repo-local knowledge graphs
• business-domain maps
• code-path and dependency tracing
• change impact analysis

The core idea is simple:

The graph isn’t the product. Understanding is.
