Unable to get the encoder to encode MP3 above 128kbs

Hello,

I am not really sure where the problem stems from, but when I start an encoder above 128kbs - I get 'CONNECTING" in yellow.
It appears to show up on the Icecast server, and I can listen to it - but I never get a connected status.

Glasscoder : 2.0.1
QjackCTL : 1.0.3
jackdmp: 1.9.22
ffmpeg: 6.0.1
LAME 64bits version 3.100
OS: Debian 12

GlassCoder built with no problems and runs correctly apart from this one little problem that I cant seem to get around.
Running in Ubuntu works fine, but would like to deploy out on Debian if possible.

Please let us know:

• The version of Icecast being used, and its provenance (Debian package, built from source, etc).
• The command-line invocation being used for glasscoder(1). (If you're using glassgui(1), you can get this by touching the Show Code button.)

Ok, I spun up an instance of GlassCoder on Debian Bookworm, using all stock packages (libmp3lame-3.100-6, etc) and current GlassCoder (v2.0.1). Tested it against Icecast 2.4.4-4 on Ubuntu 22.04. All Layer III rates above 128 kbps work perfectly, including connection status. For example:

--server-url=[redacted] \
--credentials-file=[redacted] \
--audio-format=mp3 \
--audio-samplerate=48000 \
--audio-channels=2 \
--audio-bitrate=320 \
--stream-name="Fred Test Stream" \

Hello, Sorry I should say, I am using glasscommander but the problem happens with glassgui as well. So when you 'start' the encoder, anything above 128kbs the 'status' stays on 'connecting' and never makes it to a green 'connected' Sorry I am just at the office at the moment, but will get the other details for you when I get home and can access that system. I might rebuild the server and start the process again, although I cant for the life of me think what I have done to stop this :)
